Spartan Surfaces is looking for a Midwest customer service order processor to join our growing team! In this role, the customer service rep is the liaison between the client, sales rep, Spartan warehouse, and product specialist.


  • Build & process orders in the Dancik system
  • Update order information in DocuWare, including adding order files to DocuWare when necessary
  • Answer telephone calls & emails
  • Take phone orders for Johnsonite, Schonox, XL Adhesive, Bostik, & CMP (all other products require a customer Purchase Order)
  • Answer customer questions about orders
  • Check stock for customers and sales reps
  • Process returns & credits
  • Follow up 2-3 times per week on CIA & Signature Required Orders
  • Send tracking & general updates on open orders as provided by logistics & product specialists
  • Works closely with sales reps, product specialists, and data entry team
  • Comfort with troubleshooting and de-escalating customer concerns
  • Other Duties assigned


  • Min. of 3 yrs. Customer service experience
  • Flooring background preferred but required for FT remote position and the higher end of the salary range
  • Detail oriented
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft & Outlook
