Spartan Surfaces is seeking a Samples Associate for our growing Samples Department. This department department revolves around the sampling of the products we carry. Every day, we handle more than a hundred orders for samples. Most of these requests are completed directly from our headquarters, the hub where we create and store our sample materials. We are in search of a candidate who possesses a keen attention to detail, enjoys engaging in hands-on activities, and can excel both in solitary tasks and within a team dynamic.

The role involves supporting various operational needs within our warehouse department, encompassing a range of tasks such as receiving, picking, shipping, managing inventory, verifying orders and items, arranging warehouse pallets, and contributing to team projects as necessary. The position requires operating equipment like forklifts, stock pickers, pallet jacks, table saws, LVT cutters, and drill presses. Additionally, the job entails using software tools like Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ZOHO CRM, for which we offer comprehensive training to ensure proficiency.

Core Duties:

• Efficiently prepare, package, and dispatch all outbound parcels.
• Precisely cut and prepare samples for presentation.
• Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming orders.
• Oversee and maintain inventory organization.
• Keep the workspace tidy and orderly.

Preferred Qualifications – One year of experience: 

• Role as a Warehouse Associate
• Operating Forklifts or Stock Pickers
• Handling small parcel dispatch through FedEx or UPS

Requirements:

• Must have attention to detail skills
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to continuously lift heavy material throughout the day
• Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours if needed
• Must be able to pass company background screening
