Spartan’s Bring Your Child to Work Day brought Spartan employees and their children together for a joyful celebration of family, creativity, and curiosity. From outdoor games to arts and crafts, Spartan youngsters left the real work for the parents and spent the day getting to know the company and each other.
Exploring Spartan: From Podcasts to Applications
The day started with a tour of Spartan’s headquarters and a stop at the Podcast Studio. Kids explored the studio, checking out the professional microphones, lights, and full recording setup.
Each child received a “My First Resume” packet to complete, helping them learn how job applications work. They got to imagine themselves as future Spartan team members, learning the basics of resumes and responsibilities in a fun way.
What Do Our Parents Really Do?
One of the highlights was asking kids what their parents actually do at Spartan. Their answers were creative, funny, and surprisingly honest. Some said, “They help Kevin,” while others thought their parents “just sit there.” One proudly stated, “My mom hires and fires people,” while another guessed, “He checks stocks.”
The answers were just as entertaining when asked what their parents love to do. Responses ranged from “Try not to get fired,” to “Try on clothes,” and “Sleep… always sleep.” The kids’ unfiltered answers brought laughter to everyone in the room.
Favorite Things and Outdoor Fun
We also asked what their favorite thing about their parent was. The replies were heartwarming—”they’re nice,” “they never give up,” and even “they like me.” Others kept it fun and sweet with answers like “they buy me goat stuff,” and “Gives me sugar.”
Later, everyone headed outside where games like football and soccer were set up. Kids also enjoyed blowing bubbles and running around with their new friends. It was the perfect way to burn off energy and wrap up the day with smiles.
A Day Full of Connection and Joy
Bring Your Child to Work Day 2025 gave our Spartan families the chance to share in what makes our workplace special. The kids had a blast, and so did we. It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and love—a reminder that the heart of Spartan lies in our people.
