Ringing in Customer Service Appreciation Week, we’re spending every day this week showcasing CS employees who consistently shine in their roles.

Customer Service Appreciation Week Spotlight | Mike Lavrich

Up first is Spartan veteran, Mike Lavrich. A Spartan through and through for more than 9 years, Mike is known around the office for his witty sarcasm, and genuinely kind heart. Mike was chosen for this shoutout by his Team Lead, Ryan Paige, who said “Mike is a true team player and is willing to help anybody he can succeed. Mike demonstrates the “We Over Me” attitude on a daily basis and is incredibly knowledgeable.”

Customer Service Appreciation Week Spotlight | Corey Sargent

Joining the Distribution team in May of this year, Corey Sargent quickly proved to be a positive addition to the Spartan family. Always willing to help and eager to learn new things, Corey has thrived in the fast-paced environment that is Customer Service.

In choosing Corey to highlight, CS Distribution Team Lead LeeAnn Hoerr said “He has been a great addition to us. He is always willing to ask questions and learn. He is willing to lend a hand and is always answering the phone. His positivity makes even the most stressful day better.”

Customer Service Appreciation Week Spotlight | Alicia LaSorte

Another new team member, Data Entry processor Alicia LaSorte started at Spartan in June and worked hard to learn and grow quickly. In a short few months, she’s gone from a newbie to knowledgeable team member and reliable support system.

Chosen by Team Leads Michelle Maggio and Ken Mann, they describe LaSorte as a go-getter with a contagious attitude that has such a positive affect on the team. “In the short time she has been with us, we have seen her improve daily. She enjoys learning her role and helping to assist others in theirs,” Michelle and Ken said.

Customer Service Appreciation Week Spotlight | Ryan Paige

While it has been wonderful showcasing our Customer Service team members this week, these choices were not easy because everyone on our CS team comes to work every day ready to work hard for this company. But in a team full of heavy hitters, it’s even more impressive to be Home Run.

Last but certainly not least, chosen by VP of Operations Ben Garback, we have to showcase Customer Service Team Lead Ryan Paige. With eight years under his Spartan belt, Ryan is a pillar of the Customer Service department. He is known for always finding the answer to problems and somehow always manages to stay calm and collected.

“RP is an amazing asset to the customer service team,” said Garback. “He is both sharp as a tack and solid as a rock. Always willing to help out others he embodies ‘We Over Me’.”

Customer Service Appreciation Week Spotlight | Shawna Grace

Celebrating three years with Spartan this month, Shawna Grace has become a beacon of positivity at the HQ. Coming from the retail side of the home improvement industry, Shawna quickly found her place at Spartan and has bloomed in her position.

“Shawna Grace came to Spartan without a specific job title. We have seen her move from role to role, improving and implementing processes each time,” said Team Lead Michelle Maggio about showcasing Shawna.  “She puts in extra time without being asked and is always willing to help her other team mates. Her passion for her work is evident on a daily basis.”
