Effective January 3rd, Spartan expanded into Southern California with Ismael (Ish) Calzada. Bringing expertise in tile, Ish carries over 30 years of catering to the needs of the SoCal market.

As the second largest market in the US, Los Angeles and the greater Southern California area is an extremely important milestone in Spartan’s continued expansion. This move officially marks coast to coast representation with further intentions of saturating the Western U.S.

“We’ve had our eye on Ish for quite some time,” states VP of Sales, Michael Blasek. “While researching the market, his name was consistently at the top of the list, touted as one of the most reputable multifamily reps in SoCal.”

Ish has spent 26 years of his career focused on tile specification and garnering tight relationships with decisions makers in this arena.  While Spartan continues to diversify as a solution provider, curating a team that understands the tile market is vital to future growth.
